Steps for installing a double-broadcast epoxy flooring system;
Step 1: Prepare the floor, diamond grind the concrete.
Step 2: Repair concrete, epoxy patch the damaged floor.
Step 3: Vapor barrier, prime the floor with epoxy.
Step 4: First broadcast, roll on 1st coat of industrial-grade epoxy and broadcast quartz or silica sand (depends on desired performance and appearance) to denial.
Step 5: Clean up, vacuum excess sand.
Step 6: Second broadcast, roll on 2nd coat of industrial-grade epoxy and broadcast quartz or silica sand to denial.
Step 7: Tidy up, vacuum excess sand again.
Step 8: Topcoat, apply an epoxy or polyurethane topcoat.
